Gren is the blunt, generous half-orc proprietor of Gren’s Tavern and the stubborn centre of a mountain-road refuge.
Innkeeper
Gren left Vöartenstadt for a quieter life and built a reputation for gruff hospitality in the Hollow that bears his name. He knows road gossip, buried-treasure rumours and the people who might answer questions beyond his experience.
Friend of the party
Gren mourned Telson, supplied Jinpachi and Norri, and directed them toward Kittleton and Vöartenstadt when they asked about the Venerated. He also refused to abandon displaced travellers while the mountain region became unstable.
Family and temperament
Gren is married to Gene. He is slow to forget either a friendship or an offence, but prefers one honest blow and a handshake to a lasting feud.
