Origins
The Incursions were not a single invasion but successive movements of orc clans under changing war-leaders, driven south by scarcity, prophecy and rival powers beyond the known frontier.
Legacy
Fortified roads, abandoned valleys and several modern alliances date to this period. Later histories often flatten the conflict into a simple war, concealing the treaties and betrayals that ended it.
